Find players you haven’t heard of

Search every player in the system, read the Standouts leaderboards for scorers and players playing up, and bring former players back from other clubs.

Most targets arrive with a name: a coach's tip, a family's enquiry, a player who stood out against you. For the rest, two tabs on your programme's Recruitment page go looking: Research for every player in the system, and Alumni for the ones who used to be yours.

Whatever you find goes onto the board covered in Recruit players for your programme.

Before you start

  • The goal-based lists cover senior football only, because that's where the club's fixture data records goals. For junior targets, lean on the search and on Playing Up.

Find players you haven't heard of

A search by club name. Add puts a player straight onto the board.

The Research tab searches every player in the system. Combine words to narrow it down, such as a name, club, age group and year: Smith Sharks U14 2025. Each result shows the player's club, seasons and appearances, and Add puts them on the board.

Below an empty search are five Standouts lists, for when you don't have a name yet:

  • Top Scorers: the leading senior scorers across every club this season.
  • Alumni in Form: former players of yours who are scoring at their new clubs.
  • Playing Up: younger players already appearing in older age groups, including at junior level.
  • Hot Form: senior players who have scored more than once in the last 30 days.
  • Clean Sheet Goalkeepers: senior keepers with the most clean sheets this season.

Each list shows its top ten, and View full report shows up to 50.

Tip: Glance at Alumni in Form once a month. A former player scoring elsewhere may be open to coming back, and you already know them, which puts you ahead of any club scouting them cold.

Bring back a former player

The Alumni tab lists former players now registered at other clubs. Filter them, then Add anyone worth a second look straight onto the board.

Confirm it worked

  • Every player you added from Research or Alumni sits in Identified on the Players tab, ready for the first conversation.
