Live Match Viewing Gets a Smarter Layout on Foldable Phones
Coaches and parents watching live matches on foldable phones (like the iPhone Duo) now get a purpose-built experience that makes the most of the folded screen — keeping the score and key info always visible at a glance while full match details stay just below.
- On foldable phones in the folded (seated) position, the top half of the screen now shows a dedicated glance board during live matches — displaying the current score, match clock, and a list of players due to come off (sin-bins first, then players with the most minutes), so coaches can make quick decisions without scrolling.
- The live match video stays pinned to the top panel when watching in the folded position, so the video never reloads or restarts as you interact with the rest of the match view below.
- On wider screens (tablets and large phones in landscape), the match watch screen now splits into two columns — video on the left taking up more space, and the score plus goal scorers on the right — making it easier to follow the game and the details at the same time.
- When using a two-panel layout on a tablet or large screen, the Fixtures list now automatically shows the next upcoming round under a 'Next up' section when no fixture is selected, so there's always something useful on screen rather than a blank panel.

iPad Portrait Layout Is Now Consistent Across All Models
The app was laying out differently on different iPad models in portrait mode depending on their exact screen size — this has been corrected so all iPads in portrait show a consistent single-column layout.
- The 11-inch iPad Pro in portrait was triggering a two-column layout while other iPads of similar size showed one column — all iPads in portrait now consistently show a single column.

Notification Previews Now Show the Correct Message Format
When coaches review who will receive a message before sending, the preview now correctly shows the type of notification each person will receive — a push notification, SMS, or email — rather than showing everything as a push.
- Confirmation screens for training changes, fixture approvals, S&C results, and AI assistant messages now show a Clubhouse push notification preview, since those messages are delivered as push notifications.

Staff-Only Accounts No Longer Trigger Errors on Login
Staff members who don't have a family record linked to their account were incorrectly triggering an error every time they loaded an admin page — this has been resolved.
- Staff accounts with no associated family (such as administrators or coaches without children in the club) now load admin pages cleanly without logging errors or showing a red error panel in development.

Players With Logins Now Receive Training and Fixture Alerts
Players who have their own Clubhouse login will now receive push notifications when training sessions are added, cancelled, or rescheduled, and when fixture changes are approved — just like parents and staff already do.
- Players with their own Clubhouse account and notifications enabled will now be alerted to training changes (additions, cancellations, rescheduling) and approved fixture changes, regardless of age group.
- If a parent and player share the same login, they are counted as one notification recipient (as a parent) so no one receives duplicate messages.
- The confirmation screen shown to coaches and administrators now displays a full breakdown of who will be notified — for example '10 players · 2 families' — listed per squad.
- The confirmation screen also names any squad members who won't receive the notification because they have notifications turned off, so coaches know who to follow up with manually.
- Message previews on the confirmation screen are displayed as a Clubhouse push notification card, so coaches can see exactly what players and parents will receive before sending.

- Short schedules and other compact sections now move as a whole unit when the layout reflows, preventing orphaned headings or isolated lines.
