Answer your recruitment enquiries

Work through the families who filled in the club’s expression-of-interest form, put the promising players on your board, and rescue the forms spam protection turned away.

The EOIs tab on your programme's Recruitment page lists the families and players who filled in your club's public expression-of-interest form, often with a highlight video attached. It is the tab that goes cold fastest.

The board those enquiries feed is covered in Recruit players for your programme.

Before you start

  • Your club administrator runs the expression-of-interest form. If no enquiries arrive for your programme, ask them to check the form lists it.
  • Staff given enquiries-only access see just the EOIs tab on the Recruitment page, and nothing else.

Answer your enquiries every week

The tab opens on the enquiries nobody has read yet. Open one to review, shortlist, dismiss or add it to the board.

A family who filled in a form is expecting to hear from the club, so working through it weekly matters more than a tidy board. Open an enquiry and mark it Reviewed, Shortlist it, or Dismiss it. For a player you want to pursue, Add to pipeline puts them on the board with their details already filled in.

Bring in forms from somewhere else

Two more tools sit above the list for staff with full access to enquiries:

  • Import CSV brings in forms collected somewhere else. Typeform exports are recognised automatically, and you see a full preview before anything is saved, including any family "Already in the system — the newest submission will win". Imported families are not sent a confirmation email.
  • Blocked lists the last 30 days of submissions the club's spam protection turned away. Those families were shown a success message, so they believe they applied. For a real family choose Create submission (or Restore all), which saves the enquiry and emails the family their confirmation. It asks first, naming each family and showing the confirmation email, and the button counts them, such as Restore and email 1 person. For junk, choose Not a real applicant. Check here whenever a family insists they applied and you can't find them.

Confirm it worked

  • Every enquiry you've opened shows Reviewed, Shortlisted or Dismissed, and the new ones are the only ones left to read.
  • A player you chose Add to pipeline for sits in Identified on the Players tab, with their details filled in.
  • A family who said they applied and was missing now appears in the list, and has had their confirmation email.
