Quick answer

How do I access and navigate the goalkeeper coach portal?

Full walkthrough: Coach the club’s goalkeepers in the guide covers this step by step.

The goalkeeper coach portal is a dedicated workspace for goalkeeping across the whole club — not just a single squad. It focuses on the keepers you develop, the sessions you run, and the video you build.

Logging in

Goalkeeper coaches log in the same way as any other staff member:

  1. Open the Clubhouse app or go to the dashboard website.
  2. Tap the Club Staff tab.
  3. Enter your email address and password.
  4. Tap Sign In.

If you have forgotten your password, tap Forgot Password to receive a reset link by email. Once signed in, the portal automatically sends you to the Goalkeeping dashboard.

Portal navigation

The goalkeeper portal has these sections:

SectionWhat it shows
Dashboard (Home on a phone)Your next GK session per cohort, any active goalkeeper injuries, and club events still waiting on your RSVP
GoalkeepersEvery keeper across the club, youngest to oldest, with their cohorts under each name
TrainingUpcoming and completed goalkeeping sessions
ScheduleThe weekly pattern your cohorts' sessions are created from — the night, time, ground and gym or video components, plus the finals changeover and which keepers are named for it. This is yours to edit. The editor warns if the same cohort would train twice at overlapping times; it does not check whether another squad has the ground
MatchesFixtures, results, and ladders across every program in the club
CalendarEvery session, match and club event, opening club-wide because you work across programmes
PresentationsDecks you can build from any squad's match footage
IDPsIndividual Development Plans for your keepers. Development plans are being rolled out club by club, so until your club is switched on this shows a short "coming soon" note rather than plans
CurriculumThe goalkeeping curriculum for the programmes you're authorised for. It opens on the first of those and you can move between them from there
Season planHow each programme's year is structured — the training phases, what each one is for, and the key dates around them. Opens club-wide, like your calendar, because you work across programmes. Read-only: each plan is set by that programme's technical director. See Reading your programme's season plan
RecruitmentPlayers the club is tracking, coaches it's hiring, and the enquiries coming in — only appears if a club administrator has given you recruitment access, and shows only the parts you were given. Offers and signings stay with the club. See Recruitment from your coach portal
SurveysThe annual Club & Coach Survey results — only appears if a club administrator has given you survey access. Responses are anonymous, and written feedback about a team you're connected to is withheld from you. See Reading member survey results
FinanceThe club's payments, payouts, reconciliation and debtors — only appears if a club administrator has given you finance access. Read-only: moving money stays with the club's treasurer. See Reading the club's finances
My developmentYour own development plan: rate yourself, add progress to your goals, read feedback your technical director shares and sign each review. See Grow as a coach
S&C TestingStrength & conditioning results across the club's programmes — only appears if a club administrator has given you S&C access. Read-only: recording results stays with the club's S&C staff. See S&C testing across the club
Active InjuriesThe club's live injury board — who is injured, where they are in their recovery, and when they are expected back. Only appears if a club administrator has given you medical access. Read-only: logging injuries and changing a status stays with the club's medical staff. See Reading the club injury board

On a computer, your club's crest sits at the top of the sidebar. The small panel icon beside it collapses the sidebar to icons only, so a smaller screen gets the room back: section names become thin lines and red counts become dots. Hover the collapsed sidebar to peek at the names without moving the page, and press the same icon to keep it open again. The choice is remembered on that computer, in every portal you use there.

How the GK portal differs from the outfield coach portal

You work club-wide, in cohorts rather than squads, with matches and video open across every programme. See How is the goalkeeper portal different from the outfield coach portal?

Settings, notifications and profile

  • The bell opens your notification inbox at /gk/notifications. On a computer, click the bell at the bottom of the sidebar, beside your name, to see your latest notifications, and View all for the full inbox; the red number on the bell is your unread count. From the inbox, Manage notification preferences takes you to the shared coach settings.
  • Tap your profile icon in the header (or your name at the bottom of the sidebar on a computer) for Settings, Help & Support and Sign out. The goalkeeper portal shares its settings with the regular coach portal, so your profile, calendar sync and notification preferences all live under Settings.

If you can't access the portal

  • Make sure you are using the Club Staff tab, not the Parent/Player tab.
  • Check that your email and password are correct.
  • If you sign in but land in a different portal, your staff role isn't set to Goalkeeper Coach — ask your administrator to update it.
  • If you sign in but see "No goalkeepers assigned", the goalkeeper cohorts haven't been seeded yet. Ask an admin to configure them.
