Quick answer
How do I view and manage the club's goalkeepers?
The Goalkeepers section is your club-wide keeper list — every keeper across every program, in one place.
- Tap Goalkeepers (or the GKs icon on mobile) in the navigation.
- The list shows each keeper with their photo, name, cohorts, and a pill for their primary age group.
- Keepers are sorted youngest to oldest by primary age group, then alphabetically by surname within each age group.
- Any keeper without a primary squad drops to the bottom — flag these with an admin so their primary squad can be set.
The page header counts active keepers, for example "9 active across the club".
If your club has a connected Veo account, the desktop list becomes a season table: Goalkeeper, Squad, Matches, Shots faced, Conceded, Time outside box, Avg depth and Last match. The two positional columns only fill for keepers with tracked matches — otherwise they show a dash. A keeper with no analysed footage reads "No Veo-linked matches yet this season"; on mobile the same stat line appears under each name.
Every keeper belongs to two things:
- Primary squad and age group. The match-day squad they normally play for — for example BYL U16, GYL U15, or Men's First Grade. This drives the coloured pill on the keeper's row.
- Cohorts. The goalkeeping groupings they train with — typically JDL Goalkeepers, Youth Goalkeepers, or Senior Goalkeepers. A keeper's cohorts appear as a dot-separated list below their name.
A single keeper can belong to multiple cohorts (for example a U18 who trains with both Youth and Senior GK groups).
What a row opens depends on whether your club has video connected:
- With Veo — the row opens the keeper's match analysis page (season stats, reviewable moments). Their full profile is one tap further, via View profile. See Analyse goalkeepers on video.
- Without Veo — the row opens the full player profile directly.
The profile has the same tabs an outfield coach sees for their squad, scoped to what's relevant for goalkeeping:
- Overview — photo, shirt number, DOB, club history, and guardian contacts.
- Medical — active injuries and injury history, read-only for you. Tap an injury to see triage notes, rehab progress, and expected return.
- Development Plan — a summary of the keeper's plan: status, strengths and current goals. View full plan opens the plan itself, where goals, check-in replies and outcomes are worked on.
- Clips — match video clips tagged to the player.
- S&C — latest strength and conditioning test results.
- Development goals and notes — worked on the plan page (via View full plan) for the keepers you coach, not on the profile.
- Profile fields — most profile fields (name, DOB, shirt number, photo) are read-only for coaches. Ask your administrator to update these.
- Medical records — active injuries are logged by medical staff or parents. You can view them but not close or edit them.
If you want to see only keepers in one age group or cohort, use the Training page instead — sessions are already cohort-scoped, and each session's attendee list shows exactly who's attached to that cohort.
The empty state says it directly: "No goalkeepers assigned — Ask an admin to seed the goalkeeper cohorts." Keepers may be registered but not yet assigned to any cohort; an admin can add them to a GK cohort from the player detail page.
