Quick answer
How do I log in to Clubhouse?
Clubhouse uses your mobile number to log you in — no password needed.
- Open the Clubhouse app on your phone.
- Make sure the Parent / Player tab is selected (it is by default).
- Enter your mobile number — the one your club has on file for you. If it is an overseas number, include the country code (for example +44).
- Leave Remember this device ticked on your own phone (it is ticked by default). Next time, the app fills in your number and sends the code straight away.
- Tap Continue.
- You will receive a 6-digit code via SMS within a few seconds.
- Enter the code in the app. Once all 6 digits are entered, you will be signed in automatically.
Tip: If the code does not arrive, tap Resend code once the one-minute countdown finishes. On an Australian number you can also tap Didn't get it? Send to my number, which sends a new code from a different sender.
If we hold an email address for you, an Email the code to option (showing your masked email address) appears under the resend link a few seconds after the code is sent. Tap it and the same 6-digit code arrives in your inbox instead. Each new code replaces the last one, so always use the newest message.
- Check you entered the correct mobile number, including the correct area format.
- Make sure your phone has reception and is not in airplane mode.
- Some carriers can delay SMS delivery by a minute or two — wait briefly and try resending.
- If you have an SMS blocker or spam filter app installed, check whether it intercepted the message.
- If you are using the code by email option, check your junk or spam folder.
Some overseas mobile networks refuse automated texts from Australian services entirely, whichever number they are sent from. There is nothing wrong with your mobile number, and resending will not help — the text is turned away before it reaches your handset. This happens even when you are standing in Australia, because a text to an overseas number is routed through that country's network first.
On these numbers we offer the email option straight away rather than after a delay, and we do not offer the "send from our number" alternative, because it cannot get past the same block. If we do not hold an email address for you, contact your club and ask them to add one.
Your mobile number may not match what your club has on file — for privacy, the app doesn't say whether a number is registered. Contact your club administrator to confirm the number they have registered for you.
Coaches, committee members and other club staff use a different login method:
- Tap the Club Staff tab on the login screen.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Tap Log in.
Don't want to remember a password? Tap Email me a code instead on the Club Staff tab. We'll send a 6-digit code to your email address — enter it and you're in. This works whether or not you've ever set a password, so it's the quickest way back in if you're not sure.
Stuck? Tap Trouble signing in? on the Club Staff login screen. It works whether you've forgotten your password or never set one.
If your club has just added you, you'll get an email with a Set Up My Account button. Tap it and, if your club has your mobile number, we'll text you a 6-digit code. Enter the code and you're straight in — there's no password to invent.
You don't need a password at all. You can sign in any time with a code to your phone or your email. If you'd like one anyway — handy if you're ever without your phone — the screen after setup offers to set one, and you can skip it.
If we don't have your mobile number, or it has changed since your club last updated it, choose Create a password instead and set one there.
Your setup link works for 30 days. If it has lapsed, open it anyway — the page will offer to email you a fresh one, so you don't need to chase anyone at the club.
