Quick answer
Welcome to the Team Manager portal
Full walkthrough: Your week as a team manager in the guide covers this step by step.
If your club admin has set you up as a Team Manager, Clubhouse gives you a
dedicated Team Manager portal at /manager to look after your squad's
admin, separate from the coach portal.
This article is your map — it covers logging in, the role switcher, and what each tab in the portal does at a glance. Each section links out to a more detailed article for when you need it.
Open Clubhouse, sign in with your phone number or email, and you'll arrive on whichever portal makes the most sense for you.
- Team Manager only (no children at the club) — you'll land
straight on
/manager. - Team Manager + parent — you'll land on the Clubhouse family view by default. To get to the Team Manager portal, tap your avatar to open the role switcher and pick your manager entry — it reads Team Manager, with your squad underneath.
- Team Manager + coach of a different squad — the role switcher shows both your coach seat(s) and your team manager seat(s). One tap moves you between them.
If you manage more than one squad, every squad gets its own entry in the role switcher. See Managing more than one squad for the detail.
The Team Manager portal has five tabs in the bottom (mobile) or side (desktop) nav:
- Home — your dashboard. Next training, next match, recent results, and a short medical summary so you know who needs to be looked after on match day.
- Squad — the squad list for the active squad in read-only form. Shirt numbers, preferred position, and photo where available. See Your squad list and training schedule.
- Training — every training session, under Upcoming and Complete tabs. Cancellations are flagged. You can't edit sessions — that's for the coach.
- Matches — four views: Fixtures, Results, Ladder and Live (a feed of the club's games as they're played). If your admin has given you the Track live matches permission, opening your own squad's match adds the same live-tracking controls a coach uses. See Tracking a live match as a Team Manager.
- Calendar — training, matches and club events in one calendar, so you can see a whole month at once instead of scrolling two lists. Read-only, and it covers the club rather than only your squad — useful when a ground is shared or a club event clashes with your training slot.
Your avatar at the top right (on a computer, your name at the bottom of the sidebar) opens a menu with Settings (your personal details, calendar sync, compliance and notification preferences; see Notification preferences and calendar sync), plus Help & Support and Sign out. While your WWC needs attention the dropdown also carries a Compliance row, with the same red or amber dot the coach portal uses.
On a computer, your club's crest sits at the top of the sidebar. The small panel icon beside it collapses the sidebar to icons only, so a smaller screen gets the room back. Hover the collapsed sidebar to peek at the names without moving the page, and press the same icon to keep it open again. The choice is remembered on that computer, in every portal you use there.
For any squad with players under 18 you must hold a current Working With Children Check. If yours lapses, your assignment is at risk. Full guidance is in Keeping your Working With Children Check current — worth reading once even if your WWC is in good shape.
- You can't add yourself as a Team Manager — that's done by your club admin from the squads page.
- You can't change which squad you manage — also an admin action.
- You can't edit training sessions or attendance — those belong to the coach.
- You can't see other Team Managers — your view is scoped to your own assignment(s).
If you have any questions, your club admin or MPIO is the right first point of contact.
