Get started with S&C
Find your way around the S&C module: the dashboard, the test settings everything else reads from, and where testing, programmes and load monitoring each live.
The S&C module is the physical side of player development at the club: testing through the season, gym and conditioning programmes players run in their own time, and load and wellness monitoring week to week. This page gets you oriented: where everything lives, the settings that the rest of the module reads from, and how a season fits together from your chair.
- Sign in at dashboard.clubhouseapp.com.au with your club staff account. Your S&C role uses the same two-factor sign-in as the rest of the admin portal.
- Set up the test settings below before the first testing day. Everything you collect is scored against them.
You land straight on the S&C Dashboard. The sidebar runs Dashboard, Programmes, Training, Load, Wellness, Matches, Testing and Reports, with the club Calendar below.
The dashboard shows only what needs you today:
- S&C Sessions for the next few days that have any.
- Injury List, whenever anyone is out.
- Wellness — Today: who is on the watch list and how many of today's check-ins are in, for squads that run check-ins.
- Programmes: each live block, with the faces of who has it and how much of the work due so far has been done. A block in its first week shows no figure yet, because nothing is due until that week ends, and only a running block below half of what's due counts as behind.
Each section only appears when there's something in it. On a phone they sit behind a Sessions, Injuries and Wellness switcher. On a quiet day the page says so: Nothing needs your attention today. If strength & conditioning is switched off for every program, the dashboard says that instead, and the rest of the S&C section leaves the sidebar until a program is switched back on under Settings → Modules & Programs.
A few things worth knowing before you go looking:
- Load always appears, but until at least one squad has GPS switched on it explains that GPS tracking isn't enabled instead of showing data.
- Reports works one programme at a time, on purpose. An "Under 13" average that blends two programmes isn't a number anyone can act on.
- Training and Matches cover the whole club but are read-only for you. You can open any session or fixture; rosters, availability and lineups stay with the coaches.
The section-by-section map is in the S&C module answer.
There's no separate settings area. The Test Settings link sits at the bottom of the Testing list, and it holds three things everything downstream reads from:
- Default Battery. Which tests a new phase includes, and how many trials each player gets. The tests and their units come from the club's test library; here you choose among them.
- Age Group Targets. One grid with every age group side by side. Targets are what turn a squad average into a colour on Reports, and timed tests are scored lower-is-better.
- Season Phase Templates. The season's testing windows as templates. As the page puts it, these phases are created automatically when you generate a new season.
Add Phaseadds one, with a Phase Name, a Phase Type, an Expected Month (shown to parents and players so they know roughly when to expect testing) and the Programs it applies to. Drag to reorder, and nothing is kept until you pressSave;Discardthrows away a wrong edit. Changing a template shapes future seasons only. Phases you've already generated keep their details.
The settings reference is in the settings answer.
Your season runs on three loops, each with its own page:
- Testing. Phases at pre-season, mid-season and the end of the season: results in, trends out. See Run a testing phase.
- Programmes. Return-to-training blocks and in-season top-ups, published to squads and followed on the Compliance tab. See Build and publish training programmes.
- Weekly monitoring. The Player Load dashboard, each match's Load tab, and the Wellness watch list, where a heavy week or a quiet problem shows up before it turns into an injury.
Families see their own player's test results in the app, under Health on the S&C tab, once results are entered. Nobody is notified when that happens, so tell the squad when a phase is done.
Clinical detail travels the other way. When a player reports a niggle after a workout, their note goes to you and the physio. The team's coach sees that the session stopped with a niggle, but never the note. The visibility answer sets out the detail.
For FNSW Club Standards, structured testing phases with recorded results are the evidence the Technical Qualifications section looks for.
- Your default battery and age-group targets are set before anyone runs a sprint.
- Your phase templates match the windows you actually test in.
- You know which loop each sidebar section belongs to, and where to look first on a Monday.
