Quick answer
How do I give another parent or guardian access to Clubhouse?
You can invite another parent or guardian — such as a co-parent, step-parent, or grandparent — so they have their own Clubhouse login and can see your child's schedule, fixtures, and development information.
- Tap your profile picture at the top of the screen.
- Tap Settings > Family Members.
- Tap Invite Parent or Guardian.
- Fill in their details:
- First name and Last name
- Mobile number — they'll use this to log in
- Role — choose Parent or Guardian
- Tap Add & Send Invite.
- Check who gets the text and what it says, then tap Invite 1 person. Not yet keeps them on your family without sending anything.
Clubhouse sends them an SMS with a personalised welcome link, just like the player invite.
First time logging in? If nobody else in your family has been invited yet, the first-run onboarding checklist includes an Invite Another Adult step that does exactly the same thing as the form above — you can complete it from inside the checklist without ever opening Family Members. The checklist only shows the steps your family still needs, so if another adult is already connected or invited, the step won't appear. Tap No thanks (or Skip — you can always do this later) on the step if you'd rather come back to it. The invite is the same either way.
Senior players: if everyone in your family plays in a senior programme, the same section is called Family & Contacts, and the roles on offer are Family Member and Contact instead of Parent and Guardian. Everything else works the same way.
The person you invite gets a text message with a link. When they tap it:
- They see a welcome screen explaining that you invited them.
- They tap Get Started.
- A verification code is sent to their mobile number.
- They enter the 6-digit code and they're in.
Once logged in, the invited parent or guardian has full access to the same information you see:
- All linked players' schedules, fixtures, and results
- Training sessions and availability
- Development plans and activity feed
- Match video and highlights
They log in with the Parent/Player tab using their own mobile number.
If the person didn't receive the text or the link expired, go to Family Members, find them in the Parents & Guardians section, and tap Invite again.
You can send up to three invites an hour to the same person. If you hit that, wait an hour and try again — it's there to stop someone's phone being flooded.
When the mobile network tells us a text couldn't be delivered, the badge next to that person changes from Invited to Not delivered, and the button changes to Fix. Tapping Fix opens a panel that explains what went wrong and lets you correct the number:
- "This number can't receive texts" — the number is disconnected, or isn't a mobile. Check it with them, type the right one, and tap Save & resend.
- "We couldn't reach this number" — the number looks fine, but their phone may have been off or out of range. Tap Resend to try the same number again, or change it if it's wrong.
Correcting the number also cancels the old invite link, so only the newest text will work.
Note: You can only correct the number for someone who hasn't logged in yet. Once they've joined Clubhouse, their mobile number is how they log in, so only they can change it — from Settings on their own account.
Not every phone tells us whether a text arrived, so a delivered invite that stays on Invited is normal. Not delivered only appears when the network has actually reported a failure.
Family Members supports two roles: Parent and Guardian. There is no separate "friend" role — if you want someone outside the family (for example, a family friend who regularly takes your child to training) to have access, you can add them as a Guardian.
Note: Each person you add needs their own mobile number that can receive text messages. They cannot share a number with you or your child.
Not everyone needs their own login. If a grandparent or family friend just wants to keep an eye on games and fixtures, there are two no-account options:
- Subscribe to the calendar. You can share a calendar subscription link so fixtures and training appear in their own phone or computer calendar — see Sync your calendar.
- Watch on the Live Hub. Your club's public Live Hub web page shows live streams and scores with no app and no login — see How do I watch a match live?.
- To remove a parent or guardian you added, see How do I remove a family member's access?.
- If someone ended up linked to the wrong player, see I invited someone and they're linked to the wrong player.
