Quick answer

I invited someone and they're linked to the wrong player

When you invite a parent or guardian from Family Members, that invite is scoped to your family group — so the person you invite is linked to your children. If you were trying to invite a relative of a different family, they'll end up linked to your player instead of theirs, and you won't be able to unlink them yourself.

Why this happens

Family invites are a parent-to-parent feature for co-parents, step-parents, grandparents, and carers who share the same children as you. There's no way from your side to invite someone onto another family's player — the app always attaches a new guardian to the family group of whoever sent the invite.

How to fix it

Because linking adults to children is a child-safety matter, the club controls it — so the fix is quick but goes through your club:

  1. Contact your club administrator. Tell them who was invited and which player they were linked to by mistake.
  2. The admin unlinks that person from your player using the club's player management tools (and, if needed, links them to the correct player instead).
  3. If the person actually needs access to their own family's player, ask that family to send the invite from their own Family Members screen. That attaches the guardian to the right children from the start.

Removing someone from your own family

Still can't see your own child?

If the real problem is that your child isn't showing up, that's a different fix — see I can't see my child.
