Quick answer
Finding the video segments in each squad's training week
Squads schedule a dedicated video segment inside their training week — a classroom or pitch-side review block with its own start time, separate from the football session around it. The portal's Training section shows you where those segments fall, so you know when each deck has to be finished.
Tap Training in the sidebar. It covers the whole club's training week, whatever your assignments, grouped by week and day, with Program and Squad filters to narrow it. Program opens on All Programs and remembers your choice. Pick one programme to see it on its own; a programme whose season hasn't started yet opens on its first weeks of training.
The list looks eight weeks ahead. Between seasons, when no squad in the club trains in that time, it opens on the week training resumes instead.
To see only the sessions you need to prepare for, set the Segment filter to Video only. That hides every session without a video block, leaving the review sessions and their times. It resets to All sessions each time you open the page.
The video block's own start time shows on the week list itself: a label like Video 5:30pm on each session that has one, with · after when the block starts once training ends. Each row also shows how many players are available. Tap a session to open it. You see:
- The squad and the session's full time bracket
- The venue, when it isn't the home ground
- The session plan, if the coaching staff have assigned one — useful context for what the coach intends to cover
- Whether the session has been cancelled or rescheduled
The open session doesn't repeat the video block's time. You will not see the player roster, individual availability, wellness readiness, or absence notes. Those are the coach's and the medical team's view; the analyst view is deliberately limited to the session itself.
The dashboard's Upcoming Video Training panel is the short version of this: the next segments due, in order, each showing its start time and how long the block runs, so the deck for Thursday's Under 14 review is finished before Thursday — and sized to the time you actually have. Blocks are not all the same length: First Grade's is typically twice a junior squad's.
Goalkeeping cohort sessions always appear on the dashboard panel. On the Training page they aren't under any one programme, so they show only when Program is set to All Programs, which a phone doesn't offer.
The Training section is where you go for the full picture — for example to see that two squads have review blocks on the same evening, or that a squad has moved theirs.
You can see the schedule but not change it. From here you cannot:
- Cancel, reschedule, or modify a session
- Add or remove a video segment
- Change the session plan
- Change any player's availability
If a video segment needs to move, or a squad needs one added, speak to the squad's coach or a club admin. Once they change it, the new time appears here — the schedule is live, not a copy.
If you expect a video block and don't see one, the squad hasn't scheduled it on that session. The Segment filter hides sessions without one, so clear the filter, and set Program to All Programs, to check whether the session exists at all before asking the coach to add the block.
