Quick answer
What can I switch on or off for each program?
Each football program on Settings → Modules & Programs has its own switches. Switch the program on, then select Settings on its row. A disabled program has no Settings button, so switch it on first.
The row itself summarises how the program is set up, so you can compare programs without opening each one. The year beside the program's name is the season it is playing: each program moves to its next season on its own once every team has finished, and when a move is due or has just happened the row gains a Move to … now or Undo button beside Settings. See Roll into next season.
- Live match tracking: Off, Basic or Full. Only Full records line-ups and match events, which is where player minutes and match stats come from. See What do Off, Basic, and Full live match tracking mean?
- Individual development plans: season-long plans with player targets, coach observations and block reviews. Off hides the plan screens for the program, and families don't see a Plan tab for it. It can't be switched off while plans are live.
- Medical: whether families and coaches can report injuries for the program, and whether its resolved injuries stay on the medical board. Open injuries always stay, and while there are any the switch can't be turned off.
- Session planning for this programme: the program's drill and session library. It's on unless you switch it off. Off takes the library out of the program's menu; nothing is deleted, and switching it back on brings it all back.
- Daily wellness check-in: which of the program's squads get the daily check-in. It is its own switch, because coaches, the medical team and families all use it, not just S&C staff.
- Strength & conditioning: see below.
- Retention: next year's places, including the deposit and season fee.
- Reminder timings: this program's own arrival and reminder times. See Per-program reminder timings.
- Season: read-only. Which season the program is on, what moves it to the next one, and its last move. Nothing here is switched; the move itself is the button on the row, when there is one.
Strength & conditioning decides whether S&C staff can publish training blocks to the program's squads. It also holds the program's load monitoring:
- GPS player tracking
- Session effort ratings (sRPE)
- Wearables recovery
Those three can only be switched on while strength & conditioning is on, and they appear greyed out under it while it's off. Turning one of them off also clears its squad enrolments.
It can't be switched off while any of the three is on, or while a training block is published to one of the program's squads (including a campaign squad drawn from the program). The card says exactly what is still on and how many blocks are published, so you know what to turn off or archive first.
Testing phases and results are club-wide, so switching one program off doesn't touch them. If strength & conditioning is off for every program, the S&C section leaves the menu, testing included, until one program is switched back on.
Turning a program off asks you to confirm and takes effect straight away for everyone. Nothing is deleted: switching it back on brings everything back.
