Quick answer
How do I enter and import S&C test results?
A phase with no results yet offers three ways in from its detail page: Live Testing, Manual Entry and Import from Spreadsheet.
The mode built for the session itself. Pick a squad and a test, tap Start Testing, and work player by player — each result auto-saves as you go, Save & Next moves you on, and Mark as Absent records who wasn't there (tap again to undo). The header counts progress (for example 12/15 complete), and you can exit at any time and come back — the phase page will offer Resume Testing.
A grid of every player against every test, with a squad filter and category tabs. Nothing saves until you tap Save Results — the floating button tells you when there are no changes to save. Time-based tests take minutes and seconds in separate boxes.
For bulk entry, choose Import from Spreadsheet on a phase that has no results yet. Import Test Results walks four steps:
- Upload — pick the testing phase, then drop in a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file. A Download template CSV link gives you the expected shape.
- Map Columns — match your spreadsheet columns to Clubhouse's test fields; obvious matches are auto-detected.
- Preview — every row is checked before anything is written: totals for Valid, Issues and Players Matched, with each player match marked Exact, Fuzzy or No match, and each row marked Ready or Skip. Rows with no matched player or no valid result are skipped. If the preview looks wrong, fix the spreadsheet and upload it again; otherwise press the import button, which counts the rows going in (for example Import 42 Results).
- Complete — jump straight to the phase with View Phase, or run another file.
Tip: Before importing, make sure your spreadsheet uses player names that match their Clubhouse profiles. A Fuzzy match is imported as matched without asking, so check each one on the preview before you import.
The tests in your battery are configured under Testing → Test Settings → Default Battery. Common tests include sprint times, vertical jump, agility runs, endurance measures and body composition metrics.
Once a phase has results, its detail page offers Edit Results — the same grid as Manual Entry, pre-filled with what's recorded. Live Testing can also be resumed to overwrite individual players.
- Double-check units — Ensure all testers are using the same units (seconds, centimetres, etc.)
- Be consistent with timing methods — Use the same timing gates or stopwatch approach across all phases for valid comparisons
- Complete all athletes — Partial data makes squad-level comparisons less meaningful
