Quick answer

S&C testing across the club

Overview

If your club has given you S&C access, an S&C Testing item appears in your sidebar — under More at the end of the bottom bar on a phone. It opens strength & conditioning results for whole programmes, not just the squad you coach.

You see the same three tabs a technical director sees: Results, Trends and Insights. It is not a cut-down copy of their page; it is the same page in your portal, so you don't need a separate admin login to read it. For how S&C access fits alongside the other grant-gated sections, see Use your extra access.

This is different from your squad's S&C tab

Your own squad's results have always been available without any special access — open My Squad and choose the S&C Results tab. That view is your players, and you can tap a name to open their profile.

S&C Testing in the sidebar is the club-wide view: pick a programme, pick an age group, and read whichever squads sit inside it. Player names there are plain text rather than links, because the programmes you can see will usually include squads that aren't yours.

I can't see S&C Testing

It is off by default, and most coaching staff will never have it. A club super admin has to turn it on for you specifically — on the Staff page, open your profile's Access tab and look under Additional access.

If it was switched on and you still can't see it, sign out and back in — the access check runs once when the portal loads.

What the three tabs show

Results is the player-level view. Choose a programme and an age group and you get the squad's latest testing phase: a summary strip across the top, then either a side-by-side comparison of every player against the age group's benchmarks, or — once two or more phases have been recorded — each player's progression between them.

Trends is the same data drawn over the season, so you can see whether a test is improving across an age group rather than for one player.

Insights is the automatic read of that: where a group is tracking ahead or behind, and which tests are moving. It appears once there is enough recorded testing to say something useful.

Why you can look but not record

S&C access lets you read testing data. It does not let you change it, so you won't see buttons to open a testing phase, enter results, or set the benchmarks for an age group.

That split is deliberate. Reading the numbers is useful to a lot of people around a club — a head coach checking how a squad is developing, a goalkeeper coach comparing across age groups. Recording them is the S&C staff's job, and results that anyone could edit stop being worth comparing.

If a result looks wrong, tell the club's S&C staff — the screen you are looking at has the phase, the age group and the test they need to find it.

Choosing a programme

The programme picker only lists the programmes your access covers, so anything you can select is something you can read. If your club runs a single programme the picker is hidden, since there is nothing to choose.

Switching programme resets the age group to the first one in that programme, as age groups differ between them.

What families and players see

Nothing here. Families and players never see this section, and never see another family's results.
