Quick answer

How do I present on the clubroom screen?

Club TV turns any screen with a web browser — a smart TV, a laptop plugged into a projector — into a display you can send a clip deck to. Pairing used to be an administrator-only setting, which meant chasing someone else five minutes before a session. You can now manage it yourself.

Pairing a screen

You do this once per screen, not once per session.

  1. In your portal, open Club TV and tap Pair a screen. A new row appears with a short link, such as tv.clubhouseapp.com.au/H6CAE.
  2. On the screen itself, type that short link into the browser. If you only have the code, open tv.clubhouseapp.com.au, type the code into the box and tap Continue.

The screen then shows the club's presentations and stays paired. To present, open a deck and use Send to Club TV — which needs the screen to be switched on and showing the club's session list right now. Paired but powered off (or the browser closed) counts as not there, and the Present menu offers the setup screen instead of sending.

Two more things to know. Every screen showing the club's session list starts the deck, so switch off any screen that shouldn't show it. And send it from a computer: on a phone the deck starts on the TV, but the phone doesn't become the remote, so you can't move past the first slide.

Treat a pairing code like a key

A code is access to the club's presentations, so:

  • Only pair screens you control. Anyone with the code can see the club's sessions on any device.
  • Revoke a screen when it's retired, replaced, or leaves the club. Tap Revoke next to it, then Confirm revoke. A revoked code stops working immediately.
  • Don't create a code you're not about to use. One per screen is all you need.

Before the session

Worth doing five minutes early rather than in front of the room:

  1. Turn the screen on and check it's showing the club's sessions, not a pairing prompt. Send to Club TV only works while the screen is live — a paired screen that's off can't receive.
  2. Open your deck and send it across once.
  3. Confirm the first clip plays with sound where you need it.

Match day

On a day the club plays at home, the top of the screen's session list is Match day. Each card shows the kick-off time large, both crests, the squad and whether its lineup is ready, such as Starting XI ready · 4-3-3 or Lineup not set yet. Within 90 minutes of kick-off the time becomes a countdown, such as Kick-off in 42 min. Tap a card to present that pre-match deck.

A dashed card reading No presentation yet. Create it from the fixture page. is a home match today that has no pre-match deck. The screen can't make one, so whoever is presenting builds it from the match's fixture page and the card turns into a deck.

An internal match (filmed training) never gets a Match day card, because it isn't a match. Its deck is listed with the other reviews, like any footage deck.

If the screen isn't working

  • It shows Link this TV to your club — its code was revoked, or was never entered. Pair it again.
  • It shows an error message instead — take a photo of it and send it to your club administrator. The message names the cause, and it's usually something only they can fix.
  • It's paired but your deck isn't listed — the list shows draft and presented decks from the last 60 days with at least two slides, and a pre-match deck only in the week of its match. Check you're presenting from the same club, and that the deck is that recent.

On the day of a big presentation

Have a fallback. A laptop with the deck open in your own browser gets the session done if the room's screen won't cooperate, and nobody in the room will know the difference.
