Quick answer
How do I pay season fees?
Your season fee lives on one page in Clubhouse, and it's the same page whether you pay it in one go or across a few payments.
When there's a fee to pay, a card appears on your Clubhouse home screen. Tap it to open Season fees. The notification and email your club sends about fees open the same page.
If nothing is owing, the home card disappears and the Season fees page simply says Nothing owing right now — that's the correct state, not a missing feature.
For the full walkthrough — the checkout, plans, autopay and receipts in one place — see Pay fees and keep receipts.
At the top: the remaining balance, the full season fee it came out of, a progress bar of how much is paid, and the date the balance is due by.
Below that is a breakdown — Season fee, Paid so far, and To pay — so the number you're being asked for always reconciles against the fee you were quoted.
Under How would you like to pay? you'll see:
- Pay in full — the whole remaining balance today.
- A payment plan — for example 3 payments, showing exactly what comes out today and the date and amount of each one after it.
Plans that can't work for your balance are shown greyed out with the reason, so you're never guessing why an option isn't available. The two reasons are that there isn't enough time before the due date, or the balance is too small to be worth splitting.
Choose a plan and you'll also see Auto-pay the rest — we charge the card you use today on each due date. It's optional, you can leave it off, and you can Turn off later — either on the fee card itself, or under Settings → Payments (that one confirms first, since your remaining instalments will then need paying by hand). With auto-pay off we send you a reminder before each payment is due instead.
Sometimes the plan is agreed in person, at training or with someone at the club. When the club sets it up for you, you'll get a notification and an email listing every payment date and amount, and the plan is already on your Season fees page. You don't need to choose anything. Pay each instalment from that page when it's due, and we'll remind you before each one.
A plan set up with the club can be monthly or fortnightly.
If Football NSW hasn't confirmed next season's fee yet, the plan splits the club's estimate, and your Season fees page says the fee is an estimate. While it is, the plan can't be changed or cancelled from the app and auto-pay stays off, so pay each instalment yourself. When the fee is confirmed, the club updates the plan over the payment dates that are left, and you'll get a notification and an email with the confirmed fee and your new amounts. Anything you've already paid counts towards it.
If your child's place was accepted this way, their offer page shows View your instalment plan instead of asking for a deposit.
Card, Apple Pay or bank transfer — same price on every option. There's no card fee, no processing surcharge, and no discount for paying by transfer. The amount you see is the amount you're charged.
What you can choose from:
- Apple Pay or Google Pay, if your device offers it
- Card
- Bank debit and PayTo, where your bank supports it
- Bank transfer, if your club has it switched on — takes one to two business days
If you choose bank transfer, Clubhouse gives you the club's account details and a reference. Put that reference in the description field of the transfer. Without it the club can't tell whose payment it is.
Tap I've made the transfer so the club knows to look for it. Your balance updates once it lands — usually a day or two — and your receipt is emailed then.
Any payment counts toward your next instalment, so you can pay early or pay extra without breaking your plan.
The card changes to Season fee — paid in full with your receipt number, and that's the end of it. Every payment you've made stays listed under Payments on the same page, and in your payment history.
Tell the club before the due date rather than after it, so there's time to work something out together.
