Quick answer
How do I watch match video and highlights?
If your club uses Veo camera integration, match videos, highlights, and player-tagged clips are available in the app.
- Tap Matches in the tab bar.
- Tap the Results tab and pick a completed match.
- Open the match and tap the Video tab.
- When the match has both, switch between Highlights (a shorter edited reel) and Full (the whole match recording) above the player.
Coaches tag short moments from each match — your child's goals, defensive actions, things to review for next session. Rather than aggregating these into a separate "Clips" page, Clubhouse sends you a notification once the coach has finished tagging:
New clip of James (or 4 new clips of James) From the 3–1 win over Penrith — tap to watch
Separately, Veo builds a reel of every moment your child was involved in. That has its own notification as soon as it's ready (for example James's reel is ready 🎬 — 56 moments), and the reel is the first tab on the Video tab, labelled with your child's first name.
Tapping the notification (or its entry in your inbox) takes you straight to that match's Video tab where the tagged clips sit alongside the highlights reel.
To minimise interruption we hold these notifications until after the squad's next video review session at training, so you don't get pinged before the coach has shown the team. If there's no training session in the next two weeks (e.g. preseason or off-week), we fall back to a short debounce so the notification still arrives the same day.
See Match clip notifications for default settings, opt-outs, and what to do if you're not receiving them.
Alongside the video, Veo produces a set of match statistics for every recorded game. Under the score of a completed match (on the Results tab, for families) you'll find:
- Possession, Shots, Passes, Corners, Fouls — your side vs. the opposition.
- Possession Location — split of where your team had the ball: attacking third, middle third, or defensive third.
- Pass Strings — how often your team strung passes together. Short build-ups counts sequences of 3 to 5 connected passes, Sustained build-ups counts sequences of 6 or more, and Longest sequence is your longest unbroken passing chain in the match.
- Video is only available for matches with a recording: a Veo camera, footage your club has added, or an FNSW broadcast. Not every match will have one.
- Highlights are generated automatically by Veo after the recording is uploaded and processed, which can take several hours after the match.
- If a match has nothing to watch yet, the Video tab won't appear on its page.
